Reading some Edward Tufte might not hurt either.

Just testing out the sample Nonoba Payment game, found a few issues:
A typo! On the Register screen, it says "Already have a nonoba user?" which really should be "Already have a nonoba account?" like on the previous screen. But even saying "nonoba account" is kind of less than ideal, and it contradicts what oliverkofoed said earlier - "We only have branding in there for "Nonoba Payment", never for "Nonoba.com"." Maybe just say, "Already have an account?"
Also, the visual design is unattractive. Not trying to insult the designer, because the rest of Nonoba.com has a nice visual style, but the payment screen looks ugly. I can understand you wanting to make it look serious rather than colorful and whimsical, but you should still be able to make something look nice and serious at the same time.
Here's what I would suggest:
Get rid of the random color. You want this screen to look good no matter what game it's in. That means, for one thing, the colors have to work well with the color scheme of any game. The easiest way to do that is to stick with very few colors, perhaps only black and white with some shades of gray. Have you seen the game Knytt? In that game you take your character to explore environments with strong and diverse color schemes, but your character always looks good against the background. Why? Because it is basically black and white, with a bit of subtle gray or flesh color.

Particularly bad is the turquoise and yellow of the Price display, and the turquoise of the heading text. The blue in the links is bad enough (makes it look like a cheap Web 1.0 site) without this other extra color making the screen cluttered and hard to scan. The only color should be in my game, in my item icon, in the payment provider logos, and in the Nonoba Payment logo. All the rest should be black, white, or one of a few shades of gray. Need examples of grayscale, monochrome, or black and white designs?

In addition to color, consistency of texture is also important. As it is now, the line weights, flat shapes, gradients, and text sizes are all inconsistent and disorganized. It's really busy-looking, hard to read, and unappealing. It seems that every single element on these screens uses a different style. Instead, it would look so much better if you chose a couple line weights, font sizes, decided between using outlines versus non-outlined color areas, and decided between flat color areas and gradient color areas.
Pick a handful of styles and use those for all the elements! If several elements onscreen use the same style, like three things using a light gray color area behind black text, that is good! It makes the whole thing seem to fit together more. Figuring out which things should share a style and how they should all be arranged on the screen is a graphic design problem that requires a designer. I'd assume you have one available. But if not, I might be able to find someone who'd redesign your payment interface for free.
Example of BAD design: The site reviewed here is what Nonoba Payment looks like to me.

Sorry to be the one to say all this, but I'd really like to see Nonoba Payment be the best it can be. Hope you can work out these visual design flaws, and let me know if you have any questions.
