starland server sucks

can i just put the 5575 video on this thing so people like noobs can try it?

Save the 5575 video for those that deserve it. More on that another time since the game really hasn't worked since November 2011.

The rest of the noobs including that guy over there pretending to be FreezingField can search and find your other videos. See what I did there? If a noob doesn't know where to find your videos... why would you share more important videos with them?

Is it the servers that suck on Nonoba? Because it's only the multi-player games and chat rooms that don't work.

I think it's time for Nonoba to admit that Kongregate's API is better. Of course, I say that without knowing if they have ever come across problems with multi-player games using their API.

Perhaps the Starland creator, wmarsh, can shed some light on this topic and share his opinion.

By the way, it is now February 2012.

in response to the most recent post of miguel.ramirez: even though this will not happen; there are some chances that wmarsh is making a second version of Starland that will have its own website.

this information was told months and months ago, maybe even a year ago, but the possibility is still there.

i have no idea when the second version of starland might be created. try mailing wmarsh to see if he has made more progress on making it.

Starland is a great game. When can we play it again?

I love Nonoba.com and think it is the best place to have the game hosted but they have given no indication in the last three months that they are going to fix their problems with the multi-player games using their API.

It's time for wmarsh to consider making some changes.

Maybe he can start working on posting Starland to Kongregate using their API adding badges for 5.5k, 5.7k, 6k and/or for killing all of the enemies on frost 11, fast 11 and/or for killing the boss on boss levels?

Or he can post a new game on Nonoba titled “Starland Sandbox” with achievements, high scores and no multi-player capabilities so that when the multi-player games do not work on Nonoba, we can at least play a basic Starland game? Perhaps, a feature so that we can gain the badges only by playing all of the levels from the start.

Or perhaps he could post a stripped down version of Starland (without the multi-player part) with high scores and achievements?

I just hope this game doesn't disappear like Janitor Joe.
